Anders Mattson is the owner/founder of AndersMattsonGolf, LLC. He has an extensive teaching background as the Director of Instruction at Saratoga National Golf Club where he helped form the Saratoga National Golf Academy. During his tenure, he coached over 60 long term junior students whom have competed on the local, regional and national stage. He has since formed his own business which focuses on player development programs and providing golfers of all ages and abilities the highest quality educational experience. Anders owns and operates the Saratoga Golf Studio in downtown Saratoga Springs, which will open in May 2019. His accolades include 3 time NENY PGA Teacher of the Year, Lead Coach for The Golf Channel Academy, and carries certifications with TrackMan, TPI and Aimpoint. Anders’ mission is to help create and train a sustainable golfing population implementing new technologies while also preserving the traditional game. Anders also takes his playing seriously. He has qualified for the 2019 PGA Professional National Championship and has also won 3 major championships on the NENY PGA Tour. Anders’ focus on Junior Golf Development programs at the Saratoga Spa State Park is an exciting new venture that will add tremendous value to all of the participants.

Clifton Park native Bob Cain returned to Saratoga National Golf Club as Head Teaching Professional in 2016. After graduating from the College of Saint Rose, where he excelled as a member of the golf team, Cain worked at Saratoga National from 2003 through 2007. He then moved to Westchester Country Club where he spent eight years working with kids and developing his teaching and coaching skills.
Cain holds various certifications from the PGA and U.S. Kids Golf. Bob will work with AndersMattsonGolf in many of the Junior Programs and will be a full time instructor in the Winter.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The new training studio is scheduled to open in May of 2019. There will be improvements made throughout the summer and will be fully operational for the Winter season of 2019.
Currently, the facility is available by appointment only.
Anders will be coaching in the studio throughout the entire year. Practice time will be available during the off-season.
We utilize a system called TrackMan which is a launch monitor that analyzes the impact of the golf ball and shows 26 parameters of club and ball data. This system is currently used as a training tool on all Professional Tours and is the most accurate launch monitor available. The indoor function includes a full Virtual library of golf courses and practice options. It is extremely accurate and allows for immediate feedback on what you did to the club and what the club did to the ball.
Practice time will be available in the off-season. In-season training will be available based on demand.
Complimentary water will be provided to anyone training. No formal food and beverage are available. Plans are for a neighbor that will provide both food and beverage options.
Parking is available both on Excelsior Avenue in front of the building, but also spots behind the building. There are a somewhat limited amount of spaces, so overflow parking is available on East Avenue, or in the Fresh Market parking lot.
We recommend sneakers and comfortable clothing. We ask that you please change your shoes in the vestibule to keep the playing surfaces as clean as possible. Casual attire is acceptable as we will likely be doing some physical training as well as golf training during our time. Comfort is key.
I will not be training on site at Saratoga National Golf Club. All programs will utilize the indoor studio for technique training year round.

Please contact Anders to get involved in a coaching program that will include rounds of golf. The goal is to train how to swing and hit indoors, and train how to play outdoors. All of my long term programs will include golf.
Many of our Junior Programs will be set up at the Par 29 at the Saratoga State Park. The golf course is perfect for developmental programs, and we will also utilize the practice facility and championship course as well.
